I just listened to the final version of Eagle Feather Meditation. It is approved, now I am waiting for CD Baby to upload to CD Baby servers. It is a very exciting time. I am hoping that Eagle Feather Meditation will reach many people far and wide and help them on their life journey.
In my wildest dreams I never thought that I would be a recording artist or that I would be writing my First Nations meditations. I guess that goes to show that you never know where your life journey will take you.
Helping With Meditation
I have always wanted to help people. I have witnessed so many people struggling on their life journey and felt that I want to be a part of helping them in whatever humble way I can. There have been times when I thought what can I do? When I doubted myself I looked into my heart and asked is this the right thing to do? The answer was a resounding “yes”. This is my opportunity to help many people but if even one person is able to find peace and healing then I will have fulfilled my life purpose. I am a helper and this is the path my life journey has brought me on.
I am also writing two more meditations and am booking studio time to go and record. These two meditations are Sacred Four Meditations and a Meditation to assist people with releasing addictive behaviour. Both meditations are written from First Nations perspective and with First Nations healing drums and music as the background.
I am also offering workshops to assist people with releasing trauma using meditation. In these workshops I will be teaching how to use breathe to deal with stress and promote healing. There are many health benefits to meditation such as body awareness, mindful living and lowering stress levels to name a few.
Iam hoping that people do not think that meditation is twisting into a pretzel and chanting, though these can be a part of a person’s meditation practice. The meditation practice I am proposing is approximately fifteen minutes once or twice a day. I wanted to write several different meditations so that people could experience different forms of relaxation as well as different music and be able to choose the one that best fits into their life.
