Traumatized people can become addicted to a stress hormone called endorphin. When stress is reduced in their lives they can go through withdrawal. These people then need to make themselves feel better so they create some stress so they can get their hit of endorphin. I call this the Inner Drama Llama. Do not feed your Inner Drama Llama! Meditation for First Nations
As I have travelled on my path to wellness I found meditation to be a useful tool to promote healing in my life. After about three years of listening to meditations from other cultures I decided to write and record my own with the voice and sound of our culture.
Meditation uses guided imagery to promote relaxation and healing. The Eagle Feather Meditation, for example, features the soothing sounds of Cree traditional singing and drumming in the background.
I just listened to the final version of Eagle Feather Meditation. It is approved, now I am waiting for CD Baby to upload to CD Baby servers. It is a very exciting time. I am hoping that Eagle Feather Meditation will reach many people far and wide and help them on their life journey.
